As part of the D.O.E.’s Better Buildings Goal Achievers Video Series, D.O.E. asked some of the biggest companies to give their energy efficiency elevator pitches. Click here to see what happened.

DOE’s Better Buildings Challenge focuses on sharing the tools and solutions in place in the market that can reduce the nation’s buildings energy usage by at least 20 percent within 10 years. Energy efficiency is vital to reducing the nation’s climate footprint: commercial buildings and industrial plants account for 50 percent of the United States’ primary energy use and cost about $400 billion annually to operate.
