CLEARWATER BEACH, FLA.—Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach’s Ocean Hai restaurant is inviting both guests and Clearwater Beach locals to dine in support of local nonprofit organizations with its new You Dine, We Donate program giving all net proceeds from food and non-alcoholic beverage purchases by diners seated at Table #31 to a different local charity selected each month. The March beneficiary of Ocean Hai’s You Dine, We Donate program is The Humane Society of Pinellas County.

The Humane Society of Pinellas has been caring for animals within their community since 1949, providing life-saving services to help keep the citizens of Pinellas County and their pets together. In an effort to end pet homelessness, the organization has partnered with numerous local organizations, including Pinellas County Animal Services, the SPCA of Tampa Bay and the Hillsborough Pet Resource Center. Together with these Tampa Bay area shelters, the Humane Society of Pinellas is working hard to promote positive change in the community.

“Wyndham Grand has a long history of supporting local charities, and our new You Dine, We Donate program is the perfect way for Ocean Hai and our guests to make a positive impact on the local community,” said Jayden Callahan, Director of Food and Beverage at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach. “The Humane Society of Pinellas County is a remarkable organization which we are proud to support as we commence our giving program.”

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach’s Signature Restaurant

Ocean Hai is Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach’s signature restaurant and the first Asian fusion restaurant to join Clearwater Beach’s already lively culinary scene. Chef Capponi previously worked as Tampa, Florida’s On Swann Executive Chef and as Executive Sous Chef at Skytop Lodge in Skytop, Pa. Chef Capponi’s dishes have received numerous industry honors and recognition, including the 2016 Creative Loafing Best of Bay Awards “Best New Restaurant” and Tampa Magazine 2016 issue cover “Tampa Bay’s Best Restaurant List.”
