Ceilume Launches Sustainable Ceiling Tile Collection

GRATON, CALIF.—Ceilume, manufacturer of decorative ceiling tiles, announced the launch of its sustainable ceiling tile collection. The Refinishing Touch Survey Focuses on TV Set Disposal

ALPHARETTA, GA.—The hotel industry is failing to educate owners and managers on how to recycle television sets, or often that television sets need to be recycled by state and local requirements. This is the key finding of a new survey conducted by The Refinishing Touch, a specialist in re-upholstery, on-site furniture refinishing and armoire modification services. Green Steps Add Up to Sizeable Savings at La Costa Resort

CARLSBAD, CALIF.—The La Costa Resort and Spa, a 400-acre property located near the beach in Carlsbad, Calif., has reduced its kitchen food waste volume by a factor of almost five times thanks to two industrial compost machines that rely on heat and agitation.
