SAN FRANCISCO—Verdafero Inc., a provider of utility analytics software and energy efficiency consulting, has announced a new utility billing analysis service for their utility analytics software platform.

This new capability enables Verdafero’s commercial customers to analyze their utility bills for billing errors and operational problems within their entire property portfolio while considering real-world influencing factors such as weather, events, utility price increases etc. The new module provides the capability to quickly and efficiently find errors and discrepancies in users’ increasingly complicated utility bills and take corrective action where needed.

Building on Verdafero’s suite of building analysis software, this requested ability to analyze individual utility bills for potential errors provides value to the building owner or operator. A commercial user can now remotely enable Verdafero’s utility analytics service to automatically consolidate, track, analyze and report all utility bills for their individual building or portfolio of buildings anywhere in the world, compare and benchmark the utility usage of each building and immediately be notified of any irregularities or problems within the billing process or operation of the building.

Dr. Alastair Hood, CEO of Verdafero Inc. added, “Our announcement today marks another significant step forward for the worldwide commercial property market. Having automatic billing analytics enables our customer base of REITs, health clubs, municipalities, franchise chains and service providers to make more confident operational and investment decisions based on ‘real data’ insights. We are proud to have achieved yet another milestone in this nascent market and look forward to bringing more deep learning analytics to additional industry segments.”

In 2015, Verdafero announced the creation of its commercial partnership program, which includes consultants, service providers, real estate management companies, REITs and other utility related product and service companies. Verdafero’s commercial partners can accurately report customer utility inefficiencies or successes and can help formulate strategies to reduce utility costs across multiple locations with all influencing factors considered.
