BUFFALO, N.Y.—Pure Wellness announced that Chris Connar has joined the company as its new Vice President, Sales effective January 22, 2019. The wellness-minded traveler represents a very large, high-growth, and affluent market segment within the hospitality industry. Connar will lead the sales efforts to enable the industry to better serve this market segment, generate additional revenue, and achieve greater guest satisfaction through the company’s Pure Room program.
Connar, with two decades of experience in global, high-growth hospitality operations and service-based organizations, brings deep experience to the position. He has a solid record of helping the industry identify and deploy the right solution to meet operational needs and increase guest service. Prior to joining Pure Wellness, Connar served as the Vice President, The Americas, for Maxxton, where he led the expansion of Europe’s leading hospitality ERP solution to the U.S. hospitality market.
Prior to joining Maxxton, Connar served as the Strategic Sales Director for The Knowland Group and Director of Sales & Account Management for Pegasus Solutions, Inc. At Knowland, Connar sold and deployed enterprise business development solutions to hotel brands, and at Pegasus, Connar sold and implemented a variety of technologies including central reservations services, web services, and sales and marketing solutions. Chris also held the role of Area Director of Sales for three Hilton Hotels in Chicago where he managed the direct sales efforts for the largest revenue generating Hilton properties in North America.
