PISCATAWAY, N.J.—Engineered to deliver superior performance compared to conventional pressure-assist toilets, the VorMax flushing platform from American Standard, part of LIXIL, is available in two back outlet commercial models for the first time. Designed to suit any installation requirements, the new toilets include the wall-hung Glenwall VorMax and the floor-mount Yorkville VorMax.
The award-winning VorMax technology has been independently verified to clean the bowl two times better than conventional toilets, and completely removes and flushes paper seat covers to offer an improved user experience. Eliminating the traditional tiny rim holes around the bowl that carry water during a flush, the VorMax flush delivers one powerful jet of water that scrubs the entire bowl completely clean with less noise than a pressure-assist toilet.
To further simplify cleaning and maintenance, both VorMax toilets have a CleanCurve Rim that eliminates hidden, hard-to-reach surfaces inside the bowl where dirt and buildup can get trapped. Both the Glenwall and Yorkville VorMax models also feature brand-exclusive EverClean, the innovative permanent finish that helps toilets stay cleaner longer.
These high-efficiency toilets (HETs) meet all applicable drain line carry requirements and achieve the highest bulk removal score on the Maximum Performance (MaP) test, successfully flushing 1,000 grams (2.2 pounds) of waste with only 1.28 gallons of water per flush (gpf). They have earned WaterSense certification for providing high performance while using 20 percent less water than traditional 1.6 gpf toilets.
The Glenwall VorMax toilet is ADA compliant when installed so that the top of the seat is 17 to 19 inches from the finished floor with the trip lever on the accessible side. Featuring a Right Height (16 1/2-inch) bowl, the Yorkville VorMax model also meets accessibility requirements.
