MIAMI—The Naples Hotel Group, a leading hotel development and management company, celebrates the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport for achieving the LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council under their rating system, which is the most widely used green building rating system. Naples Hotel Group was awarded the development and management contract for the Miami Airport hotel by owners, Hotelex Airport LLC.
The LEED certification identifies the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport as an example of sustainability and helping to transform the building industry. According to the U.S. Green Building Council’s website, LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is available for virtually all building, community and home project types, and provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings.
The TownePlace Suites Miami Airport is located near the southeast quadrant and main entrance of Miami International Airport. The hotel has stylish studio, one- and two-bedroom suites featuring full kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, adjustable work spaces with built-in shelves and lighting, flat screen television, as well as luxurious new bedding. Its custom interior design, convenient location, and upscale amenities have made it a top accommodation in the market.
The achievement reflects Naples Hotel Group’s recognized expertise in developing and operating premium-branded limited service hotels. Naples Hotel Group continues to develop hotels in Florida and the Southeast United States, currently with four other hotels in different phases of design.
