OAKLAND, CALIF.—Dramatically-styled with interwoven panels of hand-etched aluminum, Basket Weave wall assemblies are the newest decorative offerings from Móz Designs. Utilized as a large-scaled backdrop in a reception area or public lounge, or placed as a smaller-scaled art installation in a restaurant, corporate lobby or private residence, Basket Weave offers a unique visual presentation.
Because of the versatility of Móz color and pattern options—and the range of scaleable sizes—Basket Weave offers designers a unique opportunity to create a contemporary installation compatible with any architectural style or theme.
Environmentally-friendly, Móz Basket Weave is fabricated from 85 percent post-industrial recycled aluminum and contributes to LEED 2.0 MR Credit 4—Recycled Content.
Many Patterns Available
More than 80 color treatments are standard, including new Móz Neutrals in goldrush, graphite, penny copper, pewter, khaki, champagne and more. Móz Earth, Woodz and Radiance tones are also offered, along with Blendz variegated color overlays. A selection of 15 hand-etched patterns is available.
Basket Weave’s interwoven .063” aluminum panels are affixed directly to a wall surface with Móz mounting hardware. The panels are available in two sizes: 11” wide x 24 ¼” long and 14” wide x 30 3/8” long. The panels can be applied in square, vertical or horizontal configurations and are placed within a mounted frame. Mounting brackets with positioning guides and panel tabs are included in each kit.
Available in a range of dimensions, Basket Weave is scaleable for any sized surface. As an example, finished sizes can range from 6-feet high by 8-feet wide or up to 12-feet high by 40-feet wide. Custom sizes and configurations are also offered, along with polycoat gloss or matte finishes.
