hsierra666COARSEGOLD, CALIF.—High Sierra Showerheads has launched its new Plus line of EPA WaterSense-certified showerheads, featuring durable, all-metal designs. Built from solid brass and stainless steel at their core, the new Plus line adds new aluminum tips, for a sleek, streamlined look. The new designs come in multiple finishes, including chrome, brushed nickel, polished brass and oil-rubbed bronze, to fit most bathroom decors.

High Sierra’s patented, nozzle-based design is unique in the industry. Rather than dropping water through holes in a perforated disc, the mechanism by which nearly all showerheads worldwide have made their spray for over a century, High Sierra’s design sends water through an unimpeded, straight path, splitting water into two streams just before the large exit opening and colliding them back together, creating a full cone of large, heavy, high-energy droplets that tumble powerfully over hair and skin.

The showerhead design uses just 1.8 or 1.5 gallons per minute, saving as much as 40 percent on water and energy over conventional 2.5 gpm showerheads. Because High Sierra’s design does not have any small holes that can clog up over time, inside or out, this makes them low-maintenance and—in combination with the durability and longevity of their all-metal construction—attractive to large institutions, as well as retail customers.
