TAMPA, FLA.—GoSpace announced the first installation of Super-Fast Electric Vehicle Chargers on the West Coast as part of Volkswagen’s Electrify America program. This first West Coast installation is at T & T Country Store located off of Interstate 84 in Huntington, Ore. Known locally for their brats and pizza, they now host Four DC Fast Chargers, as part of their unique offering. The owner, Tracy McCue, recently overheard a group of nearby campers talking about these hi-tech looking Chargers.

“This initiative is critical to keep pace with all the new Electric Vehicles coming on the market,” said Rock Henderson, Managing Member of GoSpace. Practically every auto manufacturer has committed to producing Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) in the coming years, including Ford’s announcement of 40 models within the next four years.

Currently in the first of four installation cycles, Electrify America is working at a rapid pace to place chargers at high visibility locations across the country, at no cost to the host location. As an Electrify America partner company, GoSpace is charged with the task of locating new host locations with which to install new state-of-the-art charging units. A wide range of host locations are being selected, everything from hotels to big box stores to unique community icons. For information on becoming a host location, contact GoSpace at (813) 421-5121 or e-mail to energize@gospacego.com.
