WILMINGTON, DEL.—DuPont introduced its Tedlar Wallcoverings Color Theory Collection. The new “Chromatic I” series allows designers to combine six new embossing patterns with a spectrum of 70 different color choices.  Whether designers are looking for warm hues, cool tones, or any shade in between, the stain resistance, ease of cleaning, and broad chemical compatibility of Tedlar Wallcoverings ensures style that will endure.

“The Color Theory Collection puts even more creative control in the hands of designers,” said Fallyn Flaherty-Earp, Global Marketing Manager, DuPont Tedlar Advanced Materials. “We always want to enable creative flexibility, without sacrificing the extreme durability of and performance characteristics designers rely on from Tedlar Wallcoverings—this collection does just that.”

Designers can utilize the sample tool on the collection’s website to visualize every combination of embossing and color choices.

Hundreds of Options

“With over 400 customizable options—there are nearly endless possibilities,” said Ralph Crozier, Global Director, EndureWalls, “We are constantly innovating based on input from our customers, and this highly customizable line is a direct result of that feedback loop that puts the endless ability of design into the client’s hands.”

Tedlar Wallcoverings are easy to clean and can stand up to the harshest industrial cleaning products, including bleach and alcohol-based solvents, without discoloration. They are ideal for high-traffic spaces, like hotel lobbies, restaurants, waiting rooms, medical facilities, or workplaces. Inherent scratch and stain resistance help them maintain a fresh and finished look for years.

Tedlar Wallcoverings have GREENGUARD Gold Certification and GREENGUARD Mold and Mildew Verification as well as Health Product Declaration (HPD) approval from the HPD Collaborative. HPD is a set of precise regulations that report the contents and health effects of products.

Designers can learn more about the UL GREENGUARD Gold environmental certification in the SPOT Products Catalog. Search “Tedlar” to see certifications for wallcoverings.
