MIAMI—Eco-Terr terrazzo in “Murano White” is featured in the recently renovated Roosevelt Hotel in Miami Beach. Interior designer Martin Brudnizki chose Eco-Terr to help preserve the Art Deco architecture and design of the historic 388 room hotel set to open later this year. To meet with Brudnizki’s design, Coverings ETC produced custom sizes of Murano White, which is featured throughout the guest bathrooms. Made from cement and recycled marble and granite chips, standard sizes are 16” x 16” and 24” x 24”, but customization of size and color is available for large projects.
Murano White is part of Coverings ETC’s signature series, Eco-Terr. The larger aggregate precast tile collection, including colors such as Diamante and Bergamo Black, is now available in slabs as well. Rectified tiles and slabs are available in over 40 colors (including custom colors) in polished, brushed, honed, and several other finishes. As with all of the products in the ECOverings collection, Eco-Terr contributes towards LEED credits for green project needs. Eco-Terr provides environmentally friendly durability and low maintenance, lasting the life of the building. With no VOCs emitted, it also earns points on indoor air quality ratings.
