PEMBROKE PINES, FLA.—Entic, a leader in smart building software and IOT, has been chosen by New York Hilton Midtown to provide operational efficiency and energy savings through enhanced visibility into the hotel’s major energy consuming systems. The project marks the 26th engagement between Entic and Hilton, which in 2015 embarked on an enterprise-wide initiative to bring energy savings and sustainability to the hospitality leader’s portfolio of properties.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to work with New York Hilton Midtown and to extend our collaboration to this marquee property,” said Carlos Diaz, CEO of Entic. “Using real-time data analysis from the building’s major energy consuming systems, we’ll gain unprecedented insights into its operation and work towards our goal of identifying and reducing significant energy waste within the first 30 days.”

New York Hilton Midtown stands at 47 stories tall and features more than 1,900 guestrooms and 150,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, making it one of the largest hotels in New York City. The building is also home to the city’s largest hotel ballroom.

As an iconic destination, the property has vastly different energy needs throughout the year. By partnering with Entic, the hotel will gain comprehensive insights into the true performance of their systems and be able to achieve year-round peak efficiency.
