NEW YORK—Trump Hotel Collection launched a new digital newspaper service for guests on June 2. The company is providing complimentary, unlimited access to top newspapers and magazines through digital access to The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and PressReader, which features over 2,500 domestic and international titles. The number of paper newspapers distributed to guests dropped by 80 percent in the first week after the service was launched. Guests can still opt for printed newspapers.

“Our research shows that guests are seeking a wider selection of reading options and we are excited to provide fast and easy access to the top news of the day with the touch of a finger,” said Jim Petrus, COO of Trump Hotel Collection. “Not only does this new service align with Trump Hotel Collection’s dedication to environmentally-friendly business practices, it is yet another way that we can provide a more personalized experience for both our international and domestic travelers.”

Once connected to the Trump Hotel Collection WiFi network, guests can access the multitude of reading material via The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times websites and by downloading the PressReader application onto their devices. This service is available brand-wide at all Trump Hotel Collection locations in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Waikiki, Miami, Toronto, Panama, and Doonbeg, Ireland.
