NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO—The Commercial Division of Moen Inc. introduces its new Heavy-Duty Two-Handle Commercial Faucet Series. The ADA-compliant products include center set and widespread lavatory faucets, bar and pantry faucets, a kitchen faucet and a vandal-proof shower head with an adjustable spray angle.
“The creation of this series was based on extensive field research conducted with decision makers and facility managers from around the country,” says Allen Talley, Moen’s director of commercial marketing and product development. “This heavy-duty series was made to be responsive to real-world scenarios in a variety of public spaces and applications. For example, to help deter vandalism, a key concern in any commercial environment, the series features recessed aerators that can’t be removed without a special tool.”
Additionally, free-spinning cartridge nut covers and stainless steel Torx head screws can only be serviced by facility employees, providing additional security and vandal-resistance. Solid cast brass bodies offer extended sturdiness, while the extra durable chrome finish can withstand exposure to harsh industrial strength cleaners.
This new Commercial Faucet Series also features durable ceramic disc cartridges that prevent handle wobble while ensuring a positive closed position which helps to conserve water. In addition, they are guaranteed to last and outperform traditional faucets found in most commercial buildings and are backed by a five-year warranty against material or manufacturing defects.
