SAN DIEGO—HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, a distributor of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) products, announced the launch of its mobile-enabled e-commerce website, hdsupplysolutions.com. The new mobile e-commerce enabled website has been developed with ease of use as its primary design philosophy, ensuring users have the same positive experience they’ve come to expect on the company’s traditional website. The mobile website features the tools necessary to enhance the customer’s experience, including the ability to browse products, create orders, access saved lists and submit shopping carts created on the full-site version.

“We are committed to investing and advancing in e-commerce technology,” said Anesa Chaibi, president and CEO, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance. “The mobile-enabled website is part of our broader strategic roadmap in evolving and enhancing our business to meet the changing demands of our customers.”

The mobile website provides a full catalog assortment of more than 22,000 products plus additional items available only online, making it easy for professionals to find the products they need no matter where they are. Customers can build a shopping cart throughout the day as they maintain their facilities and then simply submit the cart from their smartphone or computer 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Before submitting shopping carts, customers have the ability to verify product availability and receive estimated shipping dates. Once carts are submitted, they can confirm the status of their orders via their smartphone by checking their order history and receiving e-mail notifications.

“We are extremely excited to launch the first e-commerce enabled wholesale distribution mobile website,” said Robin Soehl, vice president, Strategy and Channel Development, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance. “This is a tool customers have asked for, and we have delivered it.”

“It’s important for us to be accessible to our customers wherever they are,” said Mark Linder, senior director e-Business, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance. “We understand that our customers may not always be near a computer, but with a smartphone and our new mobile website, they have access to our products 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
