NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y.—Evolve Guest Controls, a provider of guestroom controls and Intelity, a hospitality software solution company, have announced that the companies will establish a partnership. This decision comes after more than a year of successfully working side by side in guestrooms at Philadelphia’s Hilton Inn at Penn.
Through this new agreement, Evolve will take advantage of the Intelity ICE (Interactive Customer Experience) enterprise platform to power its Evolve room controls with guest service applications. Intelity’s customers will also be able to use Evolve’s room controls, which are capable of manipulating factors such as lighting, temperature, room status and motorized shading systems, through the multiple ICE interfaces.
“This strategic partnership further enhances Evolve’s suite of products by combining its world-class, guestroom control systems and manufacturing expertise with Intelity’s award-winning software solutions,” said Len Horowitz, president and CEO of Evolve. “Having the ability to utilize Intelity’s extensive list of hotel system integrations will provide Evolve an unparalleled level of flexibility and functionality for our customers. Also, by integrating with the ICE platform, the hotel guest is given the ability to control Evolve devices via the hotel TV, guest smartphones, guest laptops, and in-room tablets.”
Intelity president and CEO David Adelson agreed that the integration affords hotels and their guests a greater level of convenience. “Intelity is always looking for ways to enhance our offerings to hotel partners by establishing key relationships with other tech leaders,” he says. “For us, the collaborative efforts serve to aid us in remaining aware of the latest advancements and developing the most innovative, adaptable products on the market.”
