NEW YORK—This year’s HD in Las Vegas will feature extensive opportunities for inspiration in more than 30 conference sessions covering today’s most impressive projects and trending topics. Among the topics: “The Beauty of Science in Design” and four NEWH Green Voice Conversations. Also planned: an inside look at Barry Sternlicht’s newest eco-friendly 1 Hotel in Brooklyn with the design team. A new Social Hub, designed by Rockwell Group, will serve as a platform for attendees and exhibitors to gather and engage in thought-provoking conversations about top-of-mind topics in the world of hospitality design.

“HD Expo will not only offer a bustling show floor of product debuts, but it will also bring to stage the most inspiring lineup of speakers,” said Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, Editor in Chief, Hospitality Design magazine. “This year’s programming is bringing together some of the brightest minds in the industry—both rising stars and veterans—who will tackle top of mind issues, from exploring the business of design and luxury today to delving into the newest brand offerings and the far-reaching effect of hospitality on other industries.”

The show, taking place May 3 to 5 at Mandalay Bay, begins with “CEO Talks: Lessons From the Top.” During a candid conversation with Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, presidents and CEOs of some of today’s leading lifestyle and luxury brands will share their thoughts on the industry, where their companies are headed and how they set themselves apart, and what ultimately effects their day-to-day decisions. Speakers include Brad Wilson, President, Ace Hotel Group; Josh Wyatt, President, Related Equinox Hotels Properties; Niki Leondakis, CEO, Two Roads Hospitality; Jay Stein, CEO, Dream Hotel Group; and Mark Harmon, Founder and Managing Partner, Auberge Resorts Collection.

HD Expo also brings attendees face to face with hotel owners, developers, and brand executives during the annual HD/ISHP Owners’ Roundtable—the show’s signature event. More than 35 hosts, representing some of the most significant and robust brand and ownership and management groups in the world, will share upcoming developments, company initiatives, and their outlook on the industry.
