VANCOUVER, B.C.—fluid has unveiled additions to their collection of sustainable faucets with the introduction of a kitchen series: F-810 and F-821. The polished chrome pull down high arc spout is designed with 360 degree rotation capability. The faucets are constructed from heavy brass for durability and reliability. The single handle operation allows both volume and temperature control. The dual function spray head has an aerated flow of 2.2 gpm at 60 psi. They are ADA compliant and AB1953 California Lead Plumbing Law Certified.

fluid is owned and operated by Sustainable Solutions International (SSi), the green products manufacturer known for their mission statement and belief in conservation without compromise, which they define as the confluence of nature, design and technology.

“We’ve long been recognized for our development and manufacturing of sustainable bathroom fixtures—for example, each tap can be fitted with an aerator to control the flow-rate,” says Doug Sproule, COO of Sustainable Solutions International. “For us to continue to have a positive effect on the environment in the best way, we knew we had to introduce similar faucets for the kitchen—a long-overlooked area for ‘green’ faucets. With this new line, we are proud to say that we’ve accomplished our goal of providing excellent products for any tap.”

SSi is the parent company of fluid and the partner/licensed distributor of Caroma, whose HET, low-flow, dual-flush toilets have been garnering awards since their introduction into the North American market. “We remain committed to the environment, and to building and distributing products that leave the smallest possible footprint,” Sproule concluded.
