CHICAGO—Reiterating his passion for clean hotels, Anthony Melchiorri, hotel restoration expert, has endorsed Cintas Corporation’s hotel cleanliness systems. Given that guest satisfaction within hospitality has recently declined—down seven index points from last year according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study—Melchiorri points to the importance of using professional services such as tile and carpet cleaning and A/C cleaning to help deliver positive guest experiences.

“One of the biggest and most basic expectations of any hotel guest is that their hotel is clean and smells nice,” said Melchiorri. “However, when I’m traveling around the country working with hotels, one of the main things I continually notice is the need for improved cleanliness. That’s why I’m thrilled to be working with Cintas, a company with the proper equipment, chemicals, processes and expertise to help hoteliers make a positive impact on the guest experience.”

Some of the company’s cleanliness programs for hotels include Tile & Carpet Deep Cleaning, A/C CoilCleaning, and the delivery of mat programs, color-coded microfiber cleaning systems, chemical dispensing units and restroom supplies.

Excited About Partnership

“Our goal is to provide hoteliers with a convenient, cost-effective way to enhance the guest experience,” said Todd McKeown, vice president of Global Hospitality & Gaming, Cintas. “We are very excited to partner with Anthony, an industry expert who shares our passion for helping hotels run more efficiently.”

“Cintas has designed systems such as Tile & Carpet Deep Cleaning and A/C Coil Cleaning that are essential elements of running successful hotels,” said Melchiorri. “These services should not be considered costs. They are an investment in your property’s assets and in your guests’ satisfaction.”

Nicknamed the “hotel fixer,” Melchiorri has more than 20 years of experience serving the hospitality industry. By age 29, he became general manager of the Lucerne Hotel, which he transformed into one of the top ranking hotels in New York City. After that, he held multiple distinguished positions, and in April, he began hosting his own TV show which helps bring struggling hotels back into business.
