WATERFORD, N.Y.—Cascades Tissue Group (Cascades) announced that they now have a membership with both the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC). These organizations share a common mission of changing the way buildings and communities are designed, redesigned or built, allowing for a more sustainable and healthy environment.

Cascades also announced a membership with the “Green” Hotels Association (GHA). GHA is an organization determined to bring hotels together that are interested in environmental issues. It is one location where hotel executives can find products and services that will help them to meet their environmental goals.

Cascades’ management philosophy, supported by 45 years of recycling experience and ongoing research and development, enables them to create increasingly sustainable products. By joining the USGBC, the CaGBC and GHA, Cascades demonstrates its continued support of projects dedicated to environmental sustainability.
