MOONACHIE, N.J.—Designed as an energy efficient replacement for incandescent bulbs in elevators, Bulbrite has introduced the new LED 1383 Elevator Lamp for multi-level residential, industrial and commercial applications. The Bulbrite LED 1383 Elevator Lamp uses 87 percent less energy than incandescents and lasts up to 30 times longer; the rated average life of the lamp is 30,000 hours. The LED requires much less maintenance and re-lamping than incandescents, reducing operating costs and re-lamping needs as well as interruption time in elevator service.
The LED lamp is designed and engineered with an extremely durable body so that the LED chips are not affected by vibration, therefore, the diodes do not require a glass lens for protection. The LED 1383 can be used with recessed fixtures inside the interiors of an elevator.
Using just 2.6 watts, the LED is an R12 bulb type with a BA15s base that operates at 13 volts. The elevator lamp has a CRI (color rendering index) of 75, a color temperature of warm white 3000K, and a beam spread of 110 degrees while delivering 135 lumens.
