Students Seek Participants for Sustainability Survey

by Glenn Hasek February 10, 2010 22:07
A group of undergraduate students at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University in Toronto are currently completing an undergraduate thesis research project. As part of the research, the students are seeking general managers, owners, and asset managers for a survey regarding sustainable hotel practices. The research is being conducted with the support of the Sustainable Hospitality Council which will use the findings in its own work.

The purpose of the research is to determine what social and environmental practices in hotels are currently being used, and to determine the tools and resources necessary to improve sustainability in the lodging industry. The survey will also attempt to determine the motivation behind launching green initiatives.

The survey will take 20 to 25 minutes to complete. The deadline for completing it is February 17. Click here to access the survey. If you have any questions, write to admin@sustainablehospitalitycouncil.com. Thank you in advance for helping the students and the Council with their work.
