WALLAND, TENN.—Blackberry Farm announces continued investment in its team members. With initiatives ranging from an increased hourly wage to a worldwide travel program, Blackberry Farm is focused on its efforts to be a leading company for career and personal development.

“We always strive to be the best employer in our community and industry with competitive pay and benefits,” said Blackberry Farm President Matt Alexander. “We want our team members to enjoy their job, use and grow their passions, and have a fulfilling experience each day that they come to work.”

Expanding its commitment to elevate the team, Blackberry Farm is raising the starting minimum hourly wage for all employees to $11, with some hourly positions starting at $12 to $15, in addition to a benefits package that includes medical insurance, vision and dental insurance and 401K match. Coupled with opportunities for professional and personal growth, Blackberry Farm is continuously strengthening its mission to provide a world-class experience for both the team members and property guests.

Property & Abroad Perks Programs

“We think it’s important for our team members to experience luxury and hospitality through our property and abroad perks programs,” said Elicia Hunt, Director of Human Resources. “Not only does it reward them for working hard and providing great service, it also allows them insight into the guest experience. They’re able to converse with guests and recommend favorite activities or discuss all the possibilities during a stay on the Farm or abroad.”

Team members enjoy opportunities to dine in the resort’s restaurants after six months of employment and experience an annual overnight stay beginning after one year of employment. Activity benefits commence immediately upon employment, inviting team members to explore the land and amenities at the Farm.

In 2017, Blackberry Farm initiated a World Travel Program. This program reimburses team members for up to two nights annually in Relais & Châteaux or equivalent accommodations. The goal of the World Travel Program is to provide inspiration and aide for employees to travel and discover the world, and the hospitality industry, beyond Blackberry Farm.

Blackberry Farm plans to add 200 jobs in 2018 and 2019 as they prepare to open a new resort property in 2019, Blackberry Mountain. For information on open positions or to apply, visit blackberryfarm.com/careers or apply through the Blackberry Farm Facebook page.
