WOODRIDGE, ILL.—Gerber, an industry leader in high performing plumbing fixtures, has expanded its product line servicing back outlet plumbing needs. Available is a 1.6 gallons per flush (gpf) gravity toilet option in both wall-hung (MX-21-021) and floor-mounted configurations (MX-21-022).
Ideal for various applications including hospitality, multi-family (high-rise condos or apartments), student housing and even single family homes, the gravity back outlet solutions out perform other products in the category and are much more quiet than their pressure-assisted counterparts.
“The retro-fit demand in this category is substantial,” says Eric Peterson, Gerber’s Vice President of Sales. “Many properties built around vertical, in-wall plumbing have suffered from poor performing toilets for decades, but are restricted in the type of product that can be installed for replacements. We recognize these applications with vertical plumbing require a back outlet product so we’ve focused a lot of research, development and product design around providing an excellent solution.”
The 1.6 gpf options complement the 1.28 gpf configurations already on the market. Both flow rate choices are available in wall hung and floor mount and provide significant water savings over traditional toilet options these are designed to replace. They feature a fully glazed trapway and siphon jets to ensure a clean bowl every time.
