CHICAGO—MDC, a leading wallcovering and design solutions company, introduces its Platinum Series Unique Effects Collection. It is the first collection in the company’s Platinum Series—a new selection of high-styled materials designed for luxury interiors.

As light reflects its surface, Diamond Thread’s checkerboard-like pattern moves on the wall, adding a layer of dimension to large areas.
Resembling distressed barn wood, Palma uses water hyacinth from the waterways of South East Asia to create a decorative statement, finished with a glaze overlay for a more refined appearance.
Another water hyacinth product, Edessa’s intricately woven natural material provides a dramatic contrast of neutral colors with hints of sparkle.
Natural Wood Veneer Product
With contrasting colors and alternating grains, the scale and shape of Wood Triangle creates a geometric vision made completely of natural wood veneer.
Composed of cork imported from Portugal, Amadia transforms interiors with its five vivid colorways, including glistening metallic, striking blue and a true white resembling birchwood.
With the inclusion of sand in this one-of-a-kind pattern, Elara leaves a dazzling shimmer that will make any space pop. Elara offers seven colorways that range from elegant blues and silvers to rich gold and bronze. Its concrete feel and appearance emulate a hand-applied finish.
Sextant, the first wallcovering from eco-chic designer Jamie Beckwith, is a sustainably sourced, in-laid wood veneer. This large-scale, geometric style is offered in seven colorways—from authentic wood tones to modern shades of silvery blues and greys. Each individual veneer is turned at various degrees to create movement in the grain, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind design.
Recycled Newspapers Put to Use
