LAGUNA BEACH, CALIF.—The Brendan Group Inc. has unveiled Seven4one, Orange County’s first contemporary boutique hotel located just a shell’s toss from the white sands and crashing surf of Laguna’s legendary beaches. Seven4one’s location places guests in the heart of the area’s best restaurants, galleries and retail boutiques. The sleek yet sophisticated design hotel draws inspiration from the some of the most fashionable boutique hotels in Europe, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Seven4one is a member of the Green Hotel Association and is an EPA WasteWise Partner.

“Mix in a little of Orange County’s laid back attitude and Laguna’s artsy roots and what you get is a very unique hotel in a world class destination” says Brent Eneix of The Brendan Group.

Comprised of just 12 rooms and suites, Seven4one offers the sophisticated traveler an intimate and exclusive lodging experience. Julia Cattaneo, the hotel’s general manager, has created a hotel that specializes in over-the-top personalized services and attention. She has broken the hospitality paradigm by eliminating most of the traditional hotel positions that are found in other hotels. The Guest Experience Manager or GEM is the first of its kind in the hospitality industry and takes a fresh approach to personalized guest services and attention.

“The GEM takes the daily responsibilities of hotel manager, butler, concierge and personal assistant and combines them with the passion to indulge each guest,” Cattaneo says. “We have empowered every associate to assure each guest has a ‘wow’ experience.”

Highly Personalized Service

Each room and suite is personalized prior to a guest’s arrival. Guests are asked to complete a two-page Traveler’s Profile that prompts them to choose personal preferences from the pillow menu, custom floral arrangements, pre-arranged spa treatments, dinner reservations or a round of golf.

The highly appointed guestrooms and suites feature custom-made foam mattresses with a 4-inch pillow top, crisp white linens and duvets, eco-friendly bamboo towels, spa robes and bath amenities from Molton Brown of London. The spa-inspired bathrooms feature pebbled bottom showers, European fixtures and eco-minded dual-flush toilets.

“With respect to food and beverage, the hotel is unique in this area as well,” Eneix says. “We are very privileged to have Jessica Alexander as Chef de Cuisine. She hails from the Montage Resort and Spa in So Laguna where she honed her craft in international small plates and tasting menus. The Kitchen at S4O features a creative, fresh and ever changing menu and promotes health conscious cooking techniques.” The use of organic and natural ingredients is just one part of the hotel’s environmental sustainability program.

The Brendan Group and Seven4One are committed to environmental sustainability and reducing their footprint on the Earth. Both companies are dedicated to improving their environmental performance by establishing precise operational policies and procedures along with meaningful measures of progress in many areas relating to sustainable hotel operations and responsible business practices.
