SURREY, B.C.— Biway Products, based in Surrey, B.C., has introduced the Loo Loo. This patented product was designed to decrease the excessive waste of toilet paper. While doing that, it will save consumers and businesses money and will have a positive impact on the environment.
The Loo Loo is a small, lightweight device made out of expanded polymers that attaches to a standard spring-loaded toilet paper roller that is found in 95 percent of all bathrooms in North America. The Loo Loo slides simply over the toilet paper roller, and then the roll of toilet paper slides over the Loo Loo. Once it is attached to the spring-loaded toilet paper roller, it stays on the roller and the toilet paper rolls are replaced as needed. By slowing down the release of the toilet paper, less is dispensed and therefore less is wasted. According to Biway Products, using the Loo Loo will save 20 to 50 percent of every roll of toilet paper used.
The Loo Loo is an environmentally friendly product. It is recyclable. And because it reduces the amount of toilet paper used, it will cut down on the air and water pollution created during the manufacturing process and significantly reduce the number of trees required to produce toilet paper. Although a new product, the Loo Loo is already in use in hundreds of homes and a 300-room hotel.
