FAIRFIELD, N.J.—Amerlux Lighting Solutions integrates the latest LED technology into its newest innovation—the Cylindrix II LED track luminaire. The Cylindrix II LED track luminaire is a thermally efficient, long lasting, and high-output luminaire. It features the latest high power, warm white LED technology that delivers high performance lighting with color temperatures similar to that of incandescent. Amerlux, a leader of task-specific, energy-efficient metal halide lighting solutions, is raising the bar as a pioneer of low-wattage LED solutions in its EcoTectural product line for retail, supermarket, commercial and hospitality markets.
Designed with a clean, architectural look, Cylindrix II LED luminaires are precision engineered for optimal thermal and optical performance. A state-of-the-art LED 20w cluster provides light output equivalent to 50- to 75-watt halogen lamps while using one-third the power. Life at 70 percent of initial lumen output is rated at 50,000 hours, which is more than 10 to 15 times longer than halogen. All of this provides for lower operating and maintenance costs for the end-user.
Amerlux uses tightly binned LEDs with a color temperature range of 2585k to 2875k and a CRI of 85 that deliver consistent warm white color and specialized optics, in a variety of beam spread distributions that provide controlled accent lighting with good visual comfort. The beams are free of projected heat and nearly all UV, making it optimal for lighting color or heat sensitive merchandise.
Efficient Heat Transfer
Construction for the Cylindrix II LED track luminaire includes die-cast lens bezel, lamp and ballast housing along with a die-cast aluminum heat sink with a machined face and a matte black finish. The heat sink and lamp housing design by Amerlux combines conduction, convection and radiation elements to ensure that heat is efficiently transferred away from the LED, allowing for better thermal management and maximizing life. Also featured is lockable vertical tilt (0 to 90 degrees) and 360-degree rotation to allow for precise aiming.
White texture, black texture and silver texture finishes are standard, but custom color options include more than 200 durable powder coat painted finishes from the extensive Amerlux palette, to complement nearly any design scheme.
Cylindrix II LED luminaires can be track, canopy or busway mounted and are both UL and CUL listed. The Cylindrix LED luminaire adds to Amerlux’s growing Cylindrix family of accent and display lighting solutions, which includes the Cylindrix track head and recessed multiple fixtures.
